What is the difference between Frosted and Clear?
While Clear cards are transparent like glass, Frosted cards have a semi-transparent, matte texture similar to etched glass. This finish diffuses light, provides a softer look, and is excellent at hiding fingerprints.
What is White Backing and do I need it?
White Backing is a layer of white ink printed underneath colors. On frosted cards, we use this to make your text and logos solid and opaque, contrasting beautifully with the semi-transparent frosted background. We apply this by default to all your main content.
Can I print on the back of Frosted cards?
Yes! Because the frosted texture blurs the view through the card, you can print on the back with less visual interference than clear cards. It creates a unique depth effect where the back content appears soft and shadowy from the front.
