Can I print on both sides of a Clear card?
Yes, double-sided printing is possible! While the card is transparent, we use advanced masking techniques to place elements behind each other where possible. However, keep in mind that any transparent area on the front allows you to see the reverse of the back image.
What is White Backing (White Ink)?
Since the plastic is transparent, standard CMYK ink would look translucent (like stained glass). To prevent this, we print a layer of bright 'White Ink' behind your text, logos, and images. This makes them fully opaque and ensures colors pop vividly against the clear card.
Do I need to set up the White Ink file myself?
No. By default, our design concierge adds White Backing to all printed elements so they are readable and vibrant. If you specifically want a certain element to be translucent (see-through) for effect, just mention it in the Order Instructions!
How do I specify which parts should be clear?
Simply upload your logo and text. In the 'Order Instructions', describe your vision (e.g., 'Keep the background clear'). We will handle the technical masking and email you a proof showing exactly which areas will be transparent.
Can I order sets for multiple employees?
Yes. Select your total quantity (e.g., 1,000 cards) and then use the 'Add Multiple Sets' option to split that quantity (e.g., 4 sets of 250). You can provide the names and titles for each person in the instructions field.
